everis has totaled a revenue of 1.17 billion euro for the fiscal year ended March 31st 2018 (from April 1st 2017 to March 31st 2018), resulting in a 14% increase over the previous year. everis’ EBITDA amounted to EUR 92 million.
everis’ business growth responds to its capacity of providing solutions to its clients’ digital transformation projects. This has been made possible thanks to the consulting firm’s evolution in developing new products and creating alliances with the innovation ecosystem. In this regard, the company opened its Living Lab this year, a space dedicated to fostering innovation through co-creation with its employees, clients, technological partners, entrepreneurs and academic institutions.
In addition, talent acquisition has sustained the increase in turnover. During FY2017, 3,000 professionals joined everis and has now over 21,000 employees worldwide. The company, therefore, remains steadfast in its commitment to creating qualified and stable employment while providing training to its professionals.
By sectors, the results show the in-depth specialization that the consulting firm has in each one of its business units. In this sense, the banking sector accounts for 33% of total turnover, followed by public sector and health (18%), industry (16%), telecommunications (15%), utilities (10%) and insurance (8%).
By types of service, the company has consolidated its commitment to strategic and digital transformation projects, which now accounts for 30% of turnover, IT consulting services (25%), and large outsourcing and BPO contracts, which represent 45% of turnover.
Europe: a growing market
The European market remains the company’s main driver of growth. The fiscal year ended March 31st 2018, revenue was over EUR 850 million, which represents a 22% increase year-on-year. In terms of revenue, the main market is still Spain with a 10% increase totaling over EUR 600 million. This is a result of the development of business transformation processes for clients. This has been possible thanks to the solutions and digital technologies performed by everis’ network of excellence and innovation centers spread across the country.
The progress of the rest of European countries has been very positive, reinforcing the presence of everis Group in the region. Belgium ended the fiscal year with a turnover of EUR 73 million (40% increase) thanks to the increase in projects for the main European institutions UK, for its part, has grown 53% to reach EUR 54 million (48M£). In Italy’s case, its revenue has exceeded EUR 58 million, an increase of 24% over the previous year, and Portugal has reached EUR 26 million (16%).
America: commitment to local talent
In the American market, everis ended the fiscal year with over 315 million euro in revenue. These results reflect everis’ commitment to local talent and knowledge across the region in the countries where the company is present: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and USA.
Chile and Argentina have been the fastest growing countries in terms of revenue with 70 and 15 million euro, respectively. Brazil continues to report largest revenue, with EUR 78 million, and Peru has increased its revenue by 22% reaching EUR 60 million.
